Coffee, juice, muffins, and fruits to start the creative juices flowing.

We are looking for several students or food preparation experts to design and serve a breakfast with Vermont products that will stimulate brain activity. If you know anybody, including yourself that would be a good fit, please contact marcb@supercollider.live

 

Innovation in Education


10:00 am - 10:30 am

Creative solutions to the challenges facing K-12 schools.

The United States spends more on kindergarten through high school education and large problems persist. Come join the Ian Rowe, founder of the Vertex Partnership, an NYC Charter School and Teresa Davis, Founder of Davis Studios in Vermont. They will discuss best practices that are making education fun and effective. The panel will be hosted by Meg Hammond of Generator.

 

Brain Awakening


10:30 am - 11:00 am

Did you know that your brain only represents about 2% of your total body weight but consumes approximately 20% of your energy?

This year, we are energized to have Prince Awhaitley leading the group in a session on Brain Awakening exercises. Price is the founder of Healthy Kingdom and can be seen around Burlington and beyond selling laser-engraved coconuts for refreshment.

11:00 am - 11:20 am

Talk with other participants about the morning sessions. Find a partner for your next creative project. Or just drink coffee and pretend to be lost in deep thought. It’s your choice because Supercollider Summit is what you make it.

 

Innovation in Energy


11:20 am - noon

Technologies to produce sustainable, secure, environment-friendly energy are making giant strides.

Wind, solar and other renewable energy sources are growing quickly. Governments are promoting them through policy, but in most cases, they are winning on economic merit.

Come see some of the most innovative companies in Vermont and beyond. This panel will include speakers such as Christine Hallquist, former CEO of VEC, Bradley Harrison, founder of Scout VC and some amazingly innovative companies from right here in Vermont.

 

Lunch


12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Enjoy fine fare from the farm for lunch and continue discussing your projects with speakers and participants.

Innovations in Food Sustainability


1:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Will Rapp dreamt of re-inventing agricultural systems and attitudes.

At Synaptic Supercollider 2022, we were blessed to have business and agriculture visionary Will Rapp present Earthkeep Farm Commons. He was joined by Véronique Beittel, an innovator in plant based substitutes on a panel moderated by Carin Cross.

This year, we honor Will’s legacy with a panel including Rebecca Gray, CEO of Gardener’s Supply, Will’s first startup, Oliver Levis, founder of Earth Sky Time, and Max Luthy, co-founder of Plink, winner of Launch VT, see Speakers Page discussing innovation in Food Sustainability.

Many entrepreneurs & artists have difficulty making money. New techniques & technology are here to save the day. Let’s use this discussion session to talk about how to use the new tools to power a new set of businesses in Vermont and beyond.

 

Student Entrepreneur Panel


2:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Student entrepreneurs are breathing new life to the creative economy. As many as half of this year’s attendants at Synaptic Supercollider will be students and so we’ve decided to create a panel to recognize their achievements and the hope they bring to solving many of today’s problems.

The panel will be moderated by Mason Tuff, director of the ARC programs at UVM.

We will be accepting applications right up to the Conference date on Saturday, September 30, 2023, so if you want to apply, please email info@synapticsupercollider.com
